MAGNESIUM

Good State Liquid Ionic Magnesium (beware: this products tastes horrible. Many kids can tolerate it mixed with grape juice, but some kids with sensory issues in regards to taste will NOT be able to tolerate it)

Natural Calm – this is a powder that you can find flavored and mix it with water. Much easier for most kids to drink than the liquid ionic magnesium

Magnesium spray (topical). This form works best for kids who are sensitive to taste and can’t tolerate either of the above magnesium supplements. Studies show that transdermal forms of magnesium are very effective. Don’t spray on joints or it may itch.

ESSENTIAL OILS
There are many quality essential oils on the market today. I personally have chosen to use Young Living oils as they make some of the best blends around for kids with “special” challenges.I have found essential oils to be particularly helpful with sleep, hyperactivity, meltdowns, as well as generic issues such as headaches, stomachaches, bug bites, etc. In order to personally get the oils at a wholesale price I have chosen to be a Distributor for them (and have been for over 4 years at this point). This also means that I do get a small commission when others purchase oils using my membership number. Click here to choose to purchase oils from Young Living.
Young Living’s site can be a bit complicated to navigate since they have different options of ways to purchase their oils. Please shoot me an email at devorah@kidsbeyondmeds with OIL HELP in the subject line, as well as your phone number and I will be happy to give you a call to walk you through the process.
